Our goal at WCF Insurance is to have you back on the road as soon as possible with a quality repair that you can trust. WCF has partnered with Safelite Auto Glass to streamline the process of repairing or replacing your damaged or broken glass.

Will my insurance policy cover broken glass?

If your windshield is damaged in a car accident, your collision insurance coverage would cover repairs or replacement subject to your collision deductible.  If broken or damaged due to non-collision causes such as rock chips, road debris, hitting a bird or animal or hail, glass repair or replacement is typically covered under your comprehensive physical damage coverage.  This will often be subject to a deductible unless you have the waiver of deductible-glass damage endorsement.  This endorsement will waive the deductible in the event of damage to glass located in the windshield, rear window, door windows or side windows.   All other glass may still be subject to the comprehensive deductible.

What will you have to pay?
  • For glass repair or replacement: pay only what your comprehensive deductible is.

  • Policies with waiver of deductible-glass damage endorsement: $0 for glass repairs or replacement subject to endorsement restrictions.

What is the claims process?
  • File the claim.

  • Schedule an appointment.

  • Get repairs or replacement completed.

  • Pay the deductible if applicable.
