SANDY, UT, January 17, 2024 – WCF Insurance, announced the retirement from WCF of Laura Stireman, Regional Vice President of Sales for Utah and Nevada, after an extraordinary 28-year tenure. Simultaneously, the company is delighted to welcome Leif Summerhays, a seasoned veteran from within WCF Insurance, as the new Regional Vice President.
Laura Stireman’s legacy at WCF goes beyond her role as Regional Vice President. Throughout her career, Laura has been a driving force in shaping the company’s growth and success. Her impact extended beyond the organization itself, as she became a respected pillar in the community. Laura played a crucial role in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, leaving an incredible mark on both WCF and the wider community. In addition to her professional achievements, Laura has been an avid volunteer, currently serving on the board of the Utah Black Chamber of Commerce and an advisory committee to the Mountain America Credit Union board of directors.

Leif has been an integral part of WCF for 20 years, demonstrating a wealth of experience in various disciplines that make him an ideal successor. Additionally, his commitment to professional development is evident through his involvement with the Utah chapter of CPCU and serving on various committees for AASCIF. Leif holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University. His immediate assumption of the role ensures a seamless transition, with Laura staying on for a few months to facilitate a smooth handover.
