2018 Utah Workplace Safety Week

During the 2014 Legislative Session, Senator Karen Mayne sponsored legislation for recognition of Utah Workplace Safety Week each year during the fourth week of June. Together with Utah employers and our safety partners, we encourage you to put specific emphasis on workplace safety the fourth week of June and join us at some of the events.

It is the mission of those involved with Utah Workplace Safety Week to promote safe working environments for Utah workers and the public by creating and maintaining an active interest in safety. Objectives are to assist in the overall effort to minimize the frequency of accidents throughout the state, to help employers and employees identify corrective measures needed to eliminate or control safety hazards, and to provide tools and resources to keep safety an integral part of the workplace.
