Purpose:

If you would like help by partnering with your EmComm project, lending administrative, financial, and technical support, email dave1 at wcf dot com or write to the address below.

Vision:

Wreckage of The Emporium and James Flood Building on Market Street, 1906.

AERO has a vision for how we can aid San Francisco disaster recovery with adequate, robust emergency communications.

Other projects:

You can also take advantage of AERO licensing efforts by taking a " ham exam".

If you hold an amateur Technician license, you are welcome to attend AERO's first radio class.

Support:

AERO needs your support. But we need widespread support from many donors, we suggest a donation that is comfortable for you. A cover letter with a few words about why you are supporting AERO would be great too, if it's not too much trouble. You can send donations to:

Organizational meeting!

Diana and I have had the pleasure of bringing AERO (www.aerosf.com) thru its first year, but we believe the task we have undertaken would be best served by a more comprehensive management. Accordingly, I plan to relinquish my post as President and Chairman of the Board; I will serve in whatever role the new board wishes. Diana will remain as corporate secretary/treasurer and VP Finance if the board wishes.

But most important, we need permanent, committed staff. If you want to work to be part of the future of AERO, you should attend the first AERO organizational meeting. This will be held in the inner Sunset district on Saturday, May 5 at 10:30AM (RSVP please to dave1 at wcf dot com for location info) and will consist of a discussion of the AERO agenda followed by lunch. We look forward to seeing you there.
